{Newborn} Baby Katie

It's fitting that my first session after having my little girl is a newborn session for another little girl.  Meet baby Katie, her parents Mark and Carolyn are so happy to welcome her into their lives.  Just check out those bright eyes and all that hair, it's no wonder they're smitten.

Make no mistake, she actually has her daddy wrapped around her finger.

{My Family}

Finally, at 8 weeks old my husband and I found the time have our own family photo session with our new addition, Ramona Petra.  She was born 6 weeks early on Nov. 24, 2013 at 4lbs 7oz.  She is now twice her birth size and growing like a weed to catch up with her peers.  We are loving every moment we spend with her and are doing our best to savor it all.

My husband sweetly helped out to make sure we got some photos with me and Ramona.

She has stolen her daddy's heart, and he proudly displays his love.

Copper of course had to get in on the action, it wouldn't be a photo session in our home without him.

We can happily say that our family is now complete.

 And then, after the photo session this happened, one of those special real life moments you just have to capture to make sure you never forget it.

{Family} Megan, Tom, & Ryan

You might remember this sweet family from little Ryan's newborn photos here.  Well Ryan is quite the growing boy at almost 8 months old, so Megan and Tom thought it was time for another family session to capture their sweet boy as he grows and changes.

Once again weather and the shutdown had us making alternative location plans, but I think their country club turned out to be a great backdrop.

He still has quite the baby blues!

Make no mistake, this little guy loves his daddy, but he is definitely mommy's little boy.

It was great catching up with these three and I look forward to seeing little Ryan continue to grow and change!

{Family} Kristin, Arthur, & Arthur V

I was lucky to spend a beautiful Saturday morning this past weekend with Kristin and Arthur and their sweet little boy Arthur V.  We went to the Constitution Gardens where Arthur V had lots of fun running around and watching the ducks and geese.  

This little guy was in constant motion.

Kristin and Arthur and their little boy make such a sweet and lovely family.  I'm lucky to have spent a morning hanging out with the three of them.

{Family} Giulliane, Reinaldo, & Barbara

I had quite a busy weekend, and I was lucky enough to top it all off with an amazing session with Giulliane, Reinaldo, and their adorable daughter Barbara.  We initially wanted to have our session at the Tidal Basin with the cherry blossoms, but because of the delayed bloom we decided to move to Dumbarton Oaks Gardens.  It was a beautiful, late afternoon with the most perfect golden light.
